Plasti Dip - Reflex

Spray paint canister of 311g (400ml) by PLASTI DIP in Reflex Effect color (USA format).

The Plasti Dip paint cans denoted "Effects", the same characteristics as the basic Plasti Dip colors, and are designed to achieve different shades when sprayed on the basic colors of Plasti Dip.

We will achieve a greater reflection of the light when we spray on dark colors (Plasti Dip). Also, if once the Reflex effect is pulverized, polish the surface, we will achieve greater effectiveness of the effect.

If we are going to give several layers of reflex effect, we should leave a minimum of 5 minutes between layers.

A spray can of 311g. it will allow us to cover a surface of 5 to 9m2, depending on the number of layers that we give.

Plasti Dip paint is used to cover objects and protect them from inclement weather (water), UV rays, etc. Once dry, the Plasti Dip paint and the effects that we have sprayed on they remain flexible and completely odorless.

It's waterproof.

Once dried dry PLASTI DIP paints can be removed by pulling them, as if they were a thin adhesive film. We do not need to sand the piece or use any type of solvent for the unpainting.

The liquid rubber PLASTI DIP forms a protective layer, rubber, very useful for sealing, cushioning and framing. It is also used as an anti-slip product. Especially recommended for indoor and outdoor use as it withstands extreme temperatures, from -34ºC to 93ºC. It is also resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, oils, as well as to many chemical agents.

It does not contain silicone and once dry, it can be easily removed.

Especially adherent to metals, wood, plastics, glass, fabrics, wool, stone, glass or carbon fibers, etc. To increase its adhesion we can use the specially designed primer product for the liquid rubber Plasti Dip.
How to use:

The surface to be protected must be dry, clean, and free of substances that hinder its adhesion. Before opening the bottle and applying the product, shake gently and open. We must let it rest a few minutes to avoid air bubbles.

We can apply the PLASTI DIP paint using a brush or brush, we can also spray it, and we can also work by immersing it by dipping the piece inside the paint canister.

To spray it, we can use the Plasti Dip paint spray bottle, or the liquid paint bottle using the PLASTI DIP solvent to dilute the paint.

To achieve a good finish when painting by spray, we have to paint based on giving thin layers (4 to 6 layers on average), leaving a minimum drying time between layers, about 6-10 minutes.

In this case of spraying, we recommend the use of electric guns (or also called turbine guns).

Technical information of the PLASTI DIP painting:

- Stable at temperatures between -34ºC and 93ºC.
- Optimum application temperature, around 20ºC.
- Minimum drying time on contact. 5 min approx.
- Complete drying time: 1 hour, depending on the thickness and the number of layers applied.
- The manufacturer recommends layers of 0.2mm thickness, which will require 150gr of product per m2.
